Arctic After Dark started the way most good things do — curled up under a blanket, reading a book that had absolutely no business being that good, while a snowstorm quietly rewrote the world outside.

We're a small, Alaskan-rooted brand built for the readers who live for the butterflies, the slow burns, the morally gray love interests, and the emotionally devastating HEAs. Our Story

Growing up in Alaska gives you a particular relationship with winter. It's not just a season — it's a whole mood. Long, dark evenings. The particular hush of fresh snowfall. The way a warm mug feels like an act of self-care. That cozy-dark energy became the heartbeat of Arctic After Dark.

When BookTok took over our lives (willingly, enthusiastically, no regrets), we noticed something: dark romance readers had incredible taste, but the merch available rarely matched the aesthetic. Too bright. Too generic. Not brooding enough. So we made our own.
